摘要
经学曾是儒学的主干,自晚清经学体系瓦解以来,现代的文献学研究和经学史叙事只是在做一些历史材料的清理工作。但这些碎片式的研究只是现代学术系统的些许补充。西方古典学在经历了现代性的洗礼之后,作为比较多地保留了古代学术的体系,具有相对成熟和独立的形态。经学的复兴能否借鉴古典学的经验乃至复制西方古典学的模式?从清末民初以来,这一直就是学界讨论的话题,并且在学科建设的实践过程中作了很多尝试,也取得了一定的成绩。但经学的内容毕竟不同于西方古典学,其现代转化的境遇和路径也不能拿古典学来作简单的比附。尤其是在当前中国崛起的大背景下,意欲激活传统的经学资源,只能走思想诠释的道路,而不能再次退居到文献整理的象牙塔里。
Confucian classicism was once the main form of Confucianism;since its collapse in the late Qing Dynasty,it has gradually faded from public vision and academic circles.Modern philologists and historians of the Confucian classics are only engaged in cleaning up certain historical materials.In terms of overall disciplinary form,the Western"Classics",a system that retains elements of ancient scholarship,meanwhile has a relatively mature and independent form.Can the revival of Confucian classicism learn from the experience of Western Classics and even copy its model?Since the late Qing,this has been a topic of academic discussion,and we have made many attempts and some achievements in constructing the discipline.However,the theme of Confucian classicism is different from Western Classics,and the situation and path of its modern transformation cannot be simply compared with that of Classics.Especially now that China is rising,if one wants to activate the traditional Confucian classics,one must choose an ideological interpretation rather than retreat again to the ivory tower of literature-sorting.
