摘要
本文基于中国2004-2017年的省级面板数据,使用带有调节效应的模型对产能过剩与产业结构升级之间的关系进行实证分析,并检验了技术创新对两者关系的调节作用。研究发现:两者呈倒U型相关关系,在某临界值之前,产能过剩会刺激产业结构不断优化升级;一旦产能过剩程度超过该临界点,随着产能过剩变得更加严重,产业结构升级反而受到抑制;二者关系受到技术创新的正向调节。
Based on China’s provincial panel data from 2004 to 2017, this study explores how overcapacity affects industrial structure upgrading by examining the moderating effect of technological innovation. The study finds that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between overcapacity and industrial structure upgrading. Before a certain threshold, overcapacity can promote the upgrading of industrial structure;once the level of overcapacity exceeds this threshold, serious overcapacity hinders the upgrading of industrial structure. The relationship between them is positively moderated by technological innovation.
