Objective To systematically evaluate the curative effect of Xiaofeng Powder in the treatment of urticaria. Methods Searching the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),China Knowledge Network(CNKI),Chinese Science and Technology Journal Full-text Database(VIP),Wanfang Database, and PubMed Database to publish publicly published information about the addition and subtraction of Xiaofeng Powder compared with conventional western medicine in the treatment of urticaria clinical randomized controlled trial(RCT).Results A total of 14 RCT literatures and 1635 patients were included.Meta results showed that the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group[RR=1.21,95%CI(1.16,1.26),Z=8.67,P<0.00001];In improving UAS score[RR=-0.70,95%CI(-0.83,-0.57),Z=10.56,P<0.00001],DLQI score[RR=-1.12,95%CI(-1.88,-0.35),Z=2.87,P=0.004]was better than the control group, and the clinical recurrence rate was lower than that of the control group[RR=0.23,95%CI(0.09,0.58),Z=3.15,P=0.002].Conclusion The effect of modified Xiaofeng Powder in treating urticaria is better than conventional western medicine, and the recurrence rate is low. However, this study included less literature and low quality. It is still necessary to carry out multi-center,large-sample randomized clinical trials to provide reliable reference for clinical applications.
