摘要
文章辨析了芬伯格理论体系中的技术代码与设计代码两个重要概念及其理论背景与实践价值。技术代码在“批判的建构主义”中获得其意义,旨在揭示那些沉淀在规则与技术物中的价值和利益,为技术民主化提供了理论与实践依据。近年来,芬伯格在“技系统”的背景之下提出了“设计代码”,将对技术的批判从技术物和技术理性扩展到了技系统和社会合理性之上。然而,这一概念的扩展暴露出技术民主化的若干局限,批判立场与技术民主化实践路径之间存在冲突,当今的技术民主化陷入道路困境。
The concepts,theoretical backgrounds and practical values of both technical code and design code are differentiated and analyzed.The technical code acquires its meaning in"critical constructivism",revealing the values and interests from norms and artifacts and providing a theoretical and practical basis for the democratization of technology.In recent years,Feenberg put forward the"design code"under the background of"techno-system",extending the criticism of artifacts and technical rationality to techno-system and social rationality.However,the expansion of the concept exposes several limitations of the democratization of technology;there exists conflict between the critical standing point and the democratization of technology;current democratization of technology has been caught in dilemma.
