摘要
多元文化交融发展的国际化环境下,着力培养学生的跨文化交际能力,已成为高职教育高度关注的热点之一。对广东省不同层次高职院校268名英语教师进行问卷调查,研究结果显示:当前高职英语教师存在跨文化能力概念与内涵理解模糊、跨文化教学认知不足、跨文化敏感度较差以及跨文化教学的认知与实际行为不一致等问题,严重制约了高职教育对高层次技能应用型国际化人才的培养。针对上述问题,提出了提升教师跨文化认知水平及其教学能力的相关建议。
Under the international environment of multicultural integration and development,it has become one of the hotspots in higher vocational education to cultivate students’intercultural communication competence.Based on a questionnaire survey of 268 English teachers of different level vocational colleges in Guangdong province,the results show that the English teachers have some problems,such as vague understanding of the concept and connotation of intercultural competence,insufficient understanding of intercultural competence teaching,poor cross-cultural sensitivity,and discrepancy between cognition and behavior.All these problems seriously restrict the cultivation of high-level applied international talents in vocational education.Directing at these problems,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the teachers’intercultural cognition and their teaching ability.
