After the ship's lube oil system is installed,it is necessary to flush the external lubricating pipeline,equipment and the inside of the main engine to protect the main engine from being damaged during use.It is very important to choose a suitable oil flushing procedure.The specific methods and precautions of the traditional oil flushing procedure and the combination of chemical cleaning and oil flushing are described in detail.A comparative analysis was made in the four aspects of time,cost,ease of operation and effect,which provided a reference for the selection of oil flushing procedure for ship construction.
