Objective To investigate the value of flipped classroom introducing new technology in standardized teaching(ST)for residents in the department of ultrasound. Methods A total of 46 ST students from the department of ultrasound in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University from January 2018 to December 2019 were collected as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into the experimental group(n=23)and the control group(n=23).The experimental group used flipped classroom, while the control group used conventional teaching mode to learn new ultrasound technology. The teaching effect and satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results Flipped classroom was superior to the conventional teaching mode, and the experimental group was superior to the control group in aspects of theoretical examination, mastery of new technology, stimulation on learning interest, improvement of thinking diagnosis and autonomous learning ability, increase of team cooperation ability, activation of classroom atmosphere and teacher satisfaction, etc.,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The flipped classroom introducing new technology is applied to the ST in the department of ultrasound, which improves the quality of ST.It is an efficient clinical teaching method suitable for the department of ultrasound, which has good application value.
