摘要
蓄意隐喻指的是产出者和接收者之间有意识地使用隐喻,关注的是隐喻的交际维度。本文提出蓄意隐喻涉及产出者主体和接收者主体,从而推导出蓄意隐喻的双重认知主体性。为验证这一观点,本研究招募76名英语专业三年级学生,首先让其以产出者身份记录自己写作过程中使用的蓄意隐喻,接着让其与任一同学交换文本并以接收者身份识别蓄意隐喻。对双方结果进行对称测量发现,接收者并不能完全识别产出者的蓄意隐喻,双方的认知存在差异,验证了蓄意隐喻的双重认知主体性。接着,引入话语分析中的主体间性理论,将双重主体之间的关系构建为一个对话、协商的动态主体间性模型,并通过例证具象展示这一模型,形成了蓄意隐喻创建和解读的认知连续统。本研究对蓄意隐喻的概念界定、识别分析、以及双重主体的主次关系都提出了新的研究视角,这也是后续研究关注的重点。
Deliberate metaphor(DM) refers to the intentional use of metaphor between producer and receiver, and emphasizes the communication dimension of metaphor use. Accordingly, this paper proposes that DM consists of two independent processes of production and reception, which contains the producer subjectivity and the receiver subjectivity respectively, thus the dual-subjectivity. 76 juniors of English major are enrolled to finish the producer task and the receiver task in succession, and the symmetric measurement indicates that receivers could not fully identify producers’ DMs. The dual-subjectivity thus has been testified. Then based on inter-subjectivity theories, a negotiating and dynamic inter-subjectivity relationship is constructed to integrate DM’s production and reception into a unified cognitive process. This paper poses a new perspective to DM’s definition, identification and dual subjectivity’s hierarchy, which would be the focus in the following research.
