Objective To explore the clinical effect of Huanglong decoction in treating patients with osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures and vertebroplasty. Methods Sixty-six patients with osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures who underwent percutaneous vertebroplasty in our hospital from February 2017 to February 2019 were divided into two groups by random number table method, with 33 cases in each. The control group was treated with Maren soft capsule.Based on this, the observation group was treated with Huanglong decoction. The clinical efficacy, pain level and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the effect of the two groups on constipation was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups were lower than before the treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Huanglong decoction in the treatment of osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures with percutaneous vertebroplasty can improve constipation, reduce pain levels, and has higher safety.
