摘要
[目的/意义]以经济学领域为例,探索社会科学科研人员数据复用行为特征和偏好,为图情机构进行科学数据管理和数据服务提供参考。[方法/过程]以2017—2019年发表在经济学领域4种高质量期刊上的1351篇论文为样本,对经济学领域的科研人员年龄和性别、是否复用数据、有无数据标题、数据来源类型、数据获取的障碍、数据评估判据、数据处理方式、数据复用规范程度等进行编码,通过描述性统计分析探索了科研人员在数据选择和利用方面的行为特征和偏好,通过卡方检验探究年龄、性别对数据源选择、数据复用规范程度是否有显著影响,通过Logistic回归探究年龄、性别如何影响数据复用。[结果/结论]经济学领域科研人员数据复用现象较为普遍,主要选择规范的数据库和统计年鉴作为二手数据源;数据缺失、异常和偏误是数据获取的最大障碍;在评判数据时主要考虑数据的完整性、全面性、精准性和适用性;数据处理方式以剔除异常数据最为常见,整体而言,经济学科研人员在文章中呈现的数据复用规范程度有待进一步提高。科研人员的年龄对数据复用与否有显著影响,年龄越大,数据复用的越少;不同年龄段的科研人员数据复用规范程度有显著性差异;科研人员的性别对于数据复用与否以及数据复用规范程度没有显著性差异。
[Purpose/significance]Taking economics as a case study,this article addresses the characteristics and preferences of data reuse behavior of social science researchers so as to provide references for scientific data management and data services of library&information institutions.[Method/process]Taking 1351 papers published in four high-quality journals in the field of economics from 2017 to 2019 as samples,the age and gender of researchers,whether to reuse data,whether to have data titles,data source types,obstacles to data acquisition,data evaluation criteria,data processing methods,and degree of data reuse specification are encoded.Descriptive statistical analysis was used to explore the behavioral characteristics and preferences of researchers in data selection and utilization.Chi-square test was used to investigate whether age and gender had significant influence on data source selection and the degree of data reuse specifications.Logistic regression was used to explore how age and gender affect data reuse.[Result/conclusion]Data reuse is a very popular among researchers in the field of economics,the standardized databases and statistical yearbooks are the main secondary data sources;data missing,anomalies,and biases are the biggest obstacles to data acquisition;data integrity,comprehensiveness,accuracy and applicability are mainly considered when evaluating data;the most common data processing method is to delete abnormal data.Overall,the degree of data reuse specification presented by economics researchers needs to be further improved.The age of researchers has a significant impact on data reuse.The older researchers get,the less data they reuse;there are significant differences in the degree of data reuse specification among researchers of different ages,the gender of researchers has no significant difference in the degree of data reuse specification and the data reuse or not.
