摘要
翻译作为一种跨文化的交际活动,关涉到各种人际关系与社会文化关系,无疑会受到伦理的制约。而外交话语的复杂性、敏感性对译者提出了更高的伦理期待。以外交话语英译的典范即《习近平谈治国理政》英译本为例,探讨切斯特曼的翻译伦理模式在译本中的体现,由此总结外交话语英译中,译者应遵循的伦理规范,能够深化新时代背景下对外交话语英译的认识,推动中国对外话语体系建设。
As a cross-cultural communicative activity,translation involves kinds of interpersonal relations and social or cultural relations,and it will undoubtedly be influenced by ethics.And the complexity and sensitivity of discourse on diplomacy put forward higher ethical expectations for translators.With the English translation of Xi Jinping:The Governance of China as an example,the embodiment of Chesterman’s translation ethics model in the translation will be discussed.Then this paper summarizes the ethical norms that translators should follow in the translation of discourse on diplomacy,which can deepen the understanding of the translation of discourse on diplomacy in the new era and promote the construction of China’s foreign discourse system.
