摘要
近年来,来华留学生质量问题日益凸显。缺乏考核生源质量的有效标准、当地高等教育落后是“一带一路”地区来华留学生质量问题的形成原因。“一带一路”大学排名通过评价当地来华留学生原就读高校质量,能够为招生部门选拔留学生提供一定参考,此外,“一带一路”大学排名还具有“以评促教”的积极作用,在一定程度上能够提升当地整体高等教育质量,进而提高当地来华留学生质量。基于此,以“一带一路”大学为研究对象,分析这些大学在四大主流世界大学排行榜的排名表现及其原因。然后以“一带一路”沿线五国本土大学排行榜为研究样本,基于“五类指标+两个维度”的分析框架,多角度对比分析这些排行榜的指标体系与权重分配。分析结果发现:“一带一路”沿线国家大学在主流世界大学排行榜表现弱势、“一带一路”本土大学排行榜总体缺失且不同评价体系各具特色。研究表明:重建包括“一带一路”沿线绝大多数大学、兼顾“一带一路”沿线各国特色的“一带一路”大学排名势在必行。
In recent years,the quality of foreign students in China has become increasingly prominent.The lack of effective standards to assess the quality of students and the backwardness of local higher education are the causes of the quality problems of foreign students from the“Belt and Road”region.The“Belt and Road”University Rankings provides a certain reference for the recruitment department to select foreign students by evaluating the quality of the original universities attended by local foreign student.In addition,it also plays a positive role in“promoting education development through evaluation”,which can improve the overall quality of local higher education to a certain extent and further improve the quality of local foreign students.Based on this,taking the“Belt and Road”universities as the research objects,this paper analyzed the ranking performance of these universities in the list of four major world universities and its causes,and the framework of“five categories of indicators+two dimensions”.The index system and weight distribution of the five local“Belt and Road”university rankings were compared and analyzed from multiple angles.The results show that the Belt and Road“universities perform weakly in the mainstream world university rankings,and that the Belt and Road”university rankings conform to different criteria,and different index systems have their own characteristics.This study shows that it is imperative to rebuild the“Belt and Road”University Rankings,which includes the vast majority of universities along the“Belt and Road”and takes into account the characteristics of various countries along the“Belt and Road”.
