摘要
以履历分析为主要方法,从性别、专兼、学科、职称和学位五个维度,对三所精英文理学院的师资队伍进行结构分析。结果显示,这些精英文理学院的师资队伍在性别结构上,男教师多,女教师少,数量差异主要体现在体育教师上;在专兼结构上,以专职教师为主,兼职教师为辅,专兼比例约为6:1;在学科结构上,聚焦于文理学科,并普遍存在教师跨学科、专业任教的现象;职称结构呈“倒葫芦形”,超过55%的教师拥有终身教职;学位结构呈“倒金字塔形”,接近40%的教师是在文理学院获得学士学位。精英文理学院的博雅教育使命、精英本科教育传统、“教授治校”理念以及相对充足且自主的经费,是其师资队伍结构特征的重要成因。
Based on the analysis of curriculum vitae,this study describes the structural characteristics of the teaching staff of three elite liberal arts colleges from five dimension,including gender structure,full-time and part-time structure,discipline structure,professional title structure and degree structure.The results show that in terms of gender structure,there are more male teachers and fewer female teachers in the three colleges,and the number difference is mainly reflected in physical education teachers;in terms of full-time and part-time structure,full-time teachers are the main part,supplemented by part-time teachers,and the proportion of full-time and part-time teachers is about 6∶1;in terms of subject structure,it focuses on liberal arts and science,and it is common that many teachers hold interdisciplinary posts;in terms of professional title structure,it is like“falling gourd”,and more than 55%of teachers have obtained tenure;in terms of degree structure,it is like“inverted pyramid”,with nearly 40%of teachers receiving bachelor's degree from liberal arts colleges.The missions of liberal arts colleges,the traditions of elite undergraduate education,the concept of“faculty governance”,and the relatively sufficient and independent funds are the important causes of the structural characteristics mentioned above.
