摘要
智能化已经成为我国制造业的发展方向,但企业在智能化改造中表现出了较大的差异性。实证研究表明,人力成本压力越大、行业竞争性越强、国际化程度越高的企业越有动力摘取智能化这一新技术"低垂的果实"。进一步的研究表明,企业智能化改造使得企业全要素生产率提高8.5%,利用倾向得分匹配方法解决"反事实"与内生性问题后,企业智能化改造的这一效应为3.9%。分样本回归结果表明,智能化改造对非国有企业、大企业与东部地区企业的全要素生产率促进作用更明显。本文研究揭示了新技术革命在微观层次上对企业的复杂性影响,在政策含义上,我国制造业智能化的发展不能单纯依靠财政政策刺激,更需要培育企业进行技术创新的内生动力。
Intelligence transformation has become the direction of China’s manufacturing industry,but firms vary in this process.This empirical research shows that firms bearing higher pressure of labor cost,more competitive environment,and higher degree of internationalization have more incentives to pick the new technology’s"low-hanging fruit".Further research indicates the intelligent transformation increases firm’s total factor productivity by 8.5%,and the effect of intelligent transformation of firms is 3.9%after solving the"anti-fact"and endogenous problems by the Propensity Score Matching method.The regressions of the sub-samples show that the total factor productivity effects of intelligence transformation are more significant to non-state-owned firms,large firms and firms in the eastern region.This paper reveals the complicated influence of the new technology revolution on firms at the micro level.The implication of policy is that the intelligent development of China’s manufacturing industry should not rely solely on fiscal stimulation,it is more necessary to cultivate the firms’endogenous dynamics to innovate.
