摘要
诞生于中国本土的翻译适应选择论以语言维、文化维、交际维“三维”转换为翻译方法,着眼于整体与中医学的整体观不谋而合,体现着天人合一的整体观。这一翻译理论与中医学有着认知同源性和隐喻同构性,为解读中医翻译提供了新的理论视角。翻译适应选择论的语言维视角提示中医翻译要语义对等,文化维提示中医翻译要传递文化内涵、体现民族特色,交际维提示译者关注原文交际意图的实现,“三维”译论同时为评价中医翻译提供了标准。
Translation as adaptation and selection,a new translation theory originated in China,conceives of linguistic dimension,cultural dimension and communicative dimension as the major approaches to translation,and it also reflects holistic concept which coincides with holism of correspondence between man and nature in TCM.The theory is similar to TCM in terms of its homogenous recognition and metaphorical isomorphism,and thus,it sheds light on the understanding of translation from a new perspective.Linguistic dimension,a perspective of translation as adaptation and selection,indicates linguistic equivalence in TCM translation,cultural dimension suggests cultural connotation and ethnic characteristics while communicative dimension implies the realization of original meaning.Meanwhile the theory offers a criterion for the evaluation of TCM translation.
