摘要
本文从主要内容、阅读提要和读后反思等方面对艾德温·根茨勒著的《后翻译研究时代的翻译与改写》(2017)进行了介评。本文指出后翻译研究的内涵在于承认跨界改写和改编作为翻译的新常态,其本质在于将研究视角从文本内移向文本外之后,探讨译作对接受文化的全方位影响,其目的在于继续推进翻译研究向跨学科研究方向发展,其学术背景源于比较文学、世界文学和文化研究,其理论渊源来源于解构主义、后殖民研究、后现代主义、心理学研究等思想。最后本文指出这种泛化的跨学科研究虽然有助于拓宽对翻译行为和译作影响的认识,但也会造成翻译研究学科界限模糊的危险,需要在阅读中加以注意。该书可作为翻译研究和比较文学专业博硕士生阅读参考书目。
This paper reviews the Translation and Rewriting in the Age of Post-Translation Studies(2017) authored by Prof. Gentzler, from the perspectives of its content, reading tips and reflection after reading. It illustrates that the connotation of post-translation studies is to admit the interdisciplinary rewriting and adaptation as the new norm of translation, and its nature is to explore the comprehensive repercussion of the translation upon the receiving culture when moving the perspective from intra-text to extra-text with an aim to promote the translation studies toward an interdisciplinary direction. Furthermore, thanks to its academic background of comparative literature, world literature and cultural studies as well as its theoretical origin of deconstructionism, post-colonization, post-modernism and psychological analysis, its over-interdisciplinary study, on the one hand, may facilitate the comprehension on the translating and translation repercussion, on the other hand, may result in the transgression danger of its disciplinary border. The reader should pay attention to this. This monograph can be a reader both for candrdates for doctoral and master’s degree of translation studies and comparative literature.
