摘要
Syllepsis和Zeugma在表现形式上都是指在同一句子里一个关键词可以与两个或两个以上词语搭配的修辞手段,但在Syllepsis中所有这些搭配在句法规则和语义上都是正确的,并产生不同的字面意义和比喻意义,而在Zeugma中一个关键词只与其中一个构成正常搭配。然而目前英语语言学界经常把Syllepsis与Zeugma等同起来,认为Syllep sis是表示Zeugma的另一个词。
