摘要
为了帮助各类各级教职工顺利获得职业发展,伯明翰大学制定了三条教职工发展路径,即研究路径、教学路径和教辅行政路径。职称评审从教师基本情况、评审工作主体、评审程序和评审条件四个方面实施。伯明翰大学教师职称评审主体及其职责明确清晰,评审工作流程实现了管理层次和管理幅度的优化,减少了学校管理资源的浪费。对中国高校教师职称评审制度的启示有:优化管理,权力下放;评审条件多元,突出重点维度;公正评审,责任到人。
In order to help the faculty at all levels to accomplish the career development,University of Birmingham has established three development paths for faculty,namely the research path,the path of teaching and the path of teaching administration.Title appraisal is implemented from four aspects including teachers’ basic situation,evaluation subjects,procedures and conditions.The faculty’s title appraisal in University of Birmingham includes clear main body and responsibilities,optimized management level and scale in procedure,and thus reduces the waste of resources.It provides some references for university faculty’s title evaluation system in China.
