摘要
米歇尔·福柯晚期极力探索如何对知识-权力关系约制作出反抗。他沉思了多年才有答案,这个答案就蕴藏在对古希腊-罗马时期“修身哲学”中的“自我关系”的讨论中。然而,皮埃尔·阿道却批评福柯的诠释太过于美学化了,因而忽视了上达“普遍理性”的要求。但事实上,福柯探究修身问题中的“自我关系”内涵并不是如阿道所批评的那样,而是也有上升到普遍性的解释。他之所以重视希腊化时期的“自我关系”模式,是因为它不仅强调了以“自我转化”为目的的生活方式和精神必须“反求诸己”的修身实践,而且展开了一种把自我安立在世界之中的诉求。
In the late period of Michel Foucault,he tried to explore how to resist the restriction of knowledge-power relationship.He pondered for years before coming up with the answer,which was embodied in a discussion of"self-relations"in the"philosophy of self-cultivation"during the ancient Greek-Roman period.However,Pierre Hadot criticized Foucault’s interpretation as too aesthetic and thus ignoring the need for"universal reason".In fact,Foucault’s exploration on the connotation of"self-relations"in the issue of self-cultivation is not as such criticized by Hadot,as it also explains the universality.The reason why he attaches importance to the"self-relations"model in Hellenistic period is that it not only emphasizes the practice of"self-transformation"of the way of life and spirit,but also carries out a kind of appeal to plunge oneself into the totality of the world.
