The reconstruction of the global value chain has changed the pattern of international production division, and Chinese manufacturing urgently needs to adjust its transformation and upgrading path. This paper analyzes the influence mechanism of reconstruction of the global value chain on manufacturing industry in developing countries, measures the occurrence of reconstruction of the global value chain under added value, and makes an empirical test of how reconstruction of the global value chain affect the value chain distribution of Chinese manufacturing based on the WIOTS from 2000 to 2014.The study results show that the characteristics of reconstruction of the global value chain in different manufacturing industries are not the same as the expansion and contraction of the overall performance, and some industries show the characteristics of continuous contraction or continuous expansion.According to the characteristics of value chain distribution in developed countries,China and other developing countries,we classify Chinese 18 Manufacturing industries into four categories including “bidirectional extrusion industries ”“strong growth industries ”“GVC leading industries ”“international production capacity cooperation industries ”.Based on the different performances in the reconstruction of the global value chain, this paper puts forward the transformation and upgrading paths of different manufacturing industries.
