摘要
出于祛邪、避灾、祈福等目的,人们制造了镇墓神物。洛阳市文物考古研究院的馆藏镇墓兽主要分为人面镇墓兽和兽面镇墓兽,造型大同小异,或独角或双角,均肩生双翼,皆为兽足;天王佣的造型则或为胡人或为汉人,或踏牛或踏小鬼,均着明光铠甲,足蹬尖头长靴。它们的施釉方式类似,一般颈、头部以上不施釉,足下台座或不施釉或施釉不及底。它们不但承载着唐代辉煌灿烂的文化,而且也是研究唐代文明的宝贵艺术财富。
For the purpose of dispelling evil spirits,avoiding disastersand praying for good luck,people made the gods and beasts to guard the tombs.Luoyang Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology's collection of tomb-guarding beasts are mainly divided into human-faced tomb beasts and animal-faced tomb beasts.The shapes are similar,either one-horned or double-horned,both shoulders with wings,all with animal feet;the models of tomb-warriors are either barbarians or Han Chinese,stepping on bulls or imps,all wearing bright armor and pointy boots.Their glazing methods are similar.Generally,no glazing is applied above the neck and the head,and no glazing is applied below the foot pedestal or below the bottom.It not only carries the splendid culture of the Tang Dynasty,but also is a valuable artistic wealth for us to study the civilization of the Tang Dynasty.
