摘要
作为随葬明器"镇墓俑"的一个重要类别,镇墓兽是最能体现古人"打鬼驱邪"丧葬文化观念的明器雕塑艺术。在明器雕塑史上,镇墓兽发展至盛唐时期,其造型风格已趋于成熟。盛唐镇墓兽镇墓驱邪的功能之所在,是与其造型形象的每一部分紧密相连的。因而,对盛唐镇墓兽典型形象的造型展开分析解读,探讨其镇墓驱邪的原因和内涵之所在,并对其"狮形"、"有翼"的形象特征与西方文化的关系进行探讨,对于我们全面把握古代明器雕塑的内涵具有重要的意义。
As an important sort of funerary objects, the tomb guarding beast can most signify the meaning of "getting rid of evils" in the funeral culture of the art of such sculptures. In the history of the sculpture of articles for the dead, the formative style of such beasts took shape in the prosperous period of the Tang dynasty. The functions of such beasts in getting rid of evils are closely related to every part of their sculpted form. Therefore, to analyze and explain the images of sculptures during the prosperous period of the Tang dynasty in order to find out the reason and connotation of their getting rid of evils and to discuss the characteristic of the beasts in the form of a winged lion with the Western culture will be of great significance to understanding the connotation of ancient sculpture of funerary objects.
