摘要
长期以来,学界对宋朝的印象基本是经济政治"积贫积弱"、思想文化"造极之世"。"积贫积弱"说始于钱穆,盛于漆侠;"造极之世"说源自陈寅恪,兴于邓广铭、漆侠等。改革开放以来,由于中国国力的显著提高、内藤假说的广泛传播、陈寅恪热的方兴未艾、宋史本位的潜移默化、对立思维的根深蒂固诸因素,"造极之世"说逐渐压倒"积贫积弱"说,占据宋朝评价的主流。然而,无论"积贫积弱"说,抑或"造极之世"说,均是民国学界的共识;只是由于现实社会的变化,两说的地位才随之升降。其实,"积贫积弱"与"造极之世"是宋朝历史的一体两面,既不应该过分贬低,也不需要过度美化。
For a long time,the academic circles’impression of the Song Dynasty was basically that the economy and politics were "Poor and Weak" and that the ideology and culture were at a "Flourishing Age". The theory of "Poor and Weak" originated from Qian Mu and flourished in Qi Xia’s time;the theory of "Flourishing Age" was derived from Chen Yinke and prospered in the time of Deng Guangming, Qi Xia,etc. Since the reform and opening up,due to the remarkable improvement of China's national strength,the widespread spread of the Naito Hypothesis,the rising enthusiasm of Chen Yinke,the imperceptible influence of the Song Dynasty's history standard, and the deep-rooted concept of opposition thinking,the theory of "Flourishing Age" has gradually overwhelmed the theory of "Poor and Weak" and occupied the mainstream of the Song Dynasty evaluation. However,no matter the theory of "Poor and Weak" or "Flourishing Age" is the consensus of the academic circles of the Republic of China;only because of the changes in the real society, the status of the two theories rises and falls accordingly. In fact,"Poor and Weak" and "Flourishing Age" are two sides of the history of Song Dynasty. They should neither be excessively disparaged nor overly beautified.
