摘要
从布迪厄的惯习理论出发,以余国藩《西游记》英译本为例,分析译者惯习如何在文本选择、译者态度和翻译策略三个方面影响译者的翻译行为。研究发现,生活经历、教育背景、职业生涯等社会因素形成了余国藩的译者惯习,在惯习的作用下,余国藩出于向西方读者忠实完整地展现《西游记》这部中国古典名著的文学特色和文化风貌的翻译动机,采取全译、异化翻译和注释翻译三种翻译策略。
Starting from bourdieu's habitus theory,taking the English translation of journey to the west by yu guofan as an example,this paper analyzes how the translator's habitus affects the translator's translation behavior in three aspects:text selection,translator's attitude and translation strategy.Study found,life experience,education background,career and other social factors formed the translator of Anthony yu rituals,in under the action of rituals,Anthony yu for western readers loyal to fully show the story of journey to the west,the characteristics of Chinese classic literature and cultural aspects of translation motive,take all the translation,foreignization translation and annotation translation three types of translation strategies.
