摘要
采用开放性问卷调查,对衡水学院英语专业和化学专业一年级学生所持科学本质观进行了相关调查。调查内容涵盖了对科学知识的经验性、科学方法、科学理论的暂定性本质、理论与定律的区别、实验的理论负载性、科学的社会文化根植性、科学知识的创造性和想象性本质等方面的认识。调查结果显示,学生对科学本质观的认识大都处于朴素及以下水平。针对调查的结果,提出如下教育教学建议:1)设置科学史类通识课程,进一步提高大学生的科学素养;2)将科学哲学课程纳入理科师范生的专业必修课程;3)理工科专业的课堂教学中,应当有意识地融入HPS教育。
Using an open-ended questionnaire, the chemistry major and the English major freshmen’ views of nature of science are probed. The contents of the questionnaire include the experiential nature of scientific knowledge, scientific method, the tentative nature of science, the difference between theory and law, the theory-ladenness of experiments, the culture embeddedness of science, the creativity and imagination of science, etc. The results show that most of the students’ understanding of the nature of science are na?ve. A few education and teaching suggestions are put forward as following: 1. Offer general educational curriculum such as history of science to promote university students’ science literacy. 2. Incorporate philosophy of science into pre-service science teacher’s training curriculum system. 3. Integrate HPS explicitly into science and engineering classroom teaching process.
