摘要 培养批判性思维是当今高等教育的一个重要目标。培养批判性思维的其中一个途径是将之融入在学科教学中。通过长期的翻译教学实践,发现中国英语专业学生缺乏批判性思维这一问题在翻译教学中尤其表现在学生视"参考译文"为"标准译文"或"最佳译文"的态度上。因此,在开课之初除了明确告知学生"参考译文"仅供参考,还精选例子,通过启发和讨论,使学生明白参考译文有优有劣。从此,学生敢于对参考译文质疑,有时甚至能提出更好的译文。实践证明,将批判性思维和翻译教学融合是一种行之有效的新的教学方法,它在帮助学生培养批评性思维的同时,也帮助他们提高了翻译水平。 It is one of the important objectives in higher education to cultivate lenrners,critical thinking.One approach is to integrate it into subject teaching.A lack of critical thinking among English majors in China is mainly reflected in their taking“reference translation”as standard one or best one.Therefore,in the present study,besides telling the students clearly at the beginning of the course that“reference translation”is just for reference,a text is used as an example to show learners there are strengths and weaknesses in the translation by heuristic teaching and discussion.This practice encouraged students to gradually question the reference translation,sometimes even put forward a better translation.It has been proved that the integration of critical thinking and translation teaching is an effective teaching method which can not only cultivate students’critical thinking,but also improve their translation competence.
