摘要
提高大学生的专业英语水平和直接使用英语从事科研的能力是教育部颁布的《关于实施高等学校本科教学质量与教学改革工程的意见》对大学英语教学改革的要求。ESP教学已成为实现这一改革的方向。本文对地方高校如何进行改革等问题作了一些探讨。
Improving the specialized English level and the ability of applying English to research directly of college students is the requirement of"Opinions on the Implementation of Undergraduate Teaching Quality and Teaching Reform Projects in Universities"promulgated by Ministry of Education for the reform of college English teaching.ESP can help to achieve the goal.This article probes into how to carry out the reform in local universities.
