摘要
近年我国新闻翻译教学和研究取得了显著成就,但也存在不少问题,尤其是新闻翻译方法研究成果较少,成果较为零散。刘其中的新著《汉英新闻编译》在这方面作出了新贡献。该书站在对外宣传的高度,阐述了汉英新闻编译对于提高外宣翻译质量,提高对外宣传效果的重要作用。文章简要介绍了该书,指出了其特点,阐述了其面世的现实意义和不足。
In recent years,the news translation teaching and studies have achieved great progress in China.However,there are still some problems to be solved,especially in the field of translation methodology in news translation.News Writing in English Based on Information in Chinese by Liu Qi-zhong made a new contribution in this field.In this book,Professor Liu frankly demonstrated that adaptation in C-E news translation can greatly improve the quality of translation for foreign audience.This paper makes a brief introduction to it and discusses the unique features of it,and finally points out its realistic value and shortcomings.
