摘要
随着计算机、录音机、录像机、智能手机等多种先进科学设备的使用,也包括各种软件和平台的操作,多模态研究在国内外已成为一门显学。与此同时,语言学界、符号学界、传播学界、教育界等对多模态的认识和评价虽然肯定的多,但也有不少负面意见,特别表现在碎片化的问题上。本文试图从时间碎片化、阅读碎片化、学习碎片化、知识碎片化、信息碎片化、智能碎片化这六个方面论述碎片化既有负面性,也有正面性,后者是主要的,是时代的产物。我们要以辩证唯物主义的对立统一观点正确处理和防治碎片化的负面性,建立碎片化和整合/融合的互补关系,正确认识多模态的碎片化时代,让碎片化为人类社会的健康发展服务。
With the development and employment of various advanced scientific instruments such as computer, tape recorder, video recorder, mobile phone, and others, the research of multimodality has turned out to be a prestigious doctrine. Although disciplines related to linguistics, semiotics, communication and education have seen highly of multimodality, negative views can also be found, especially about the case of fragmentation. The paper attempts to study fragmentation related to time, reading, learning, knowledge, intelligence and information. It is found there are both positive and negative aspects concerning fragmentation, but the former plays a more important role in the new era. We should base ourselves on the law of unity of opposites to deal with the negative effects of fragmentation,establish the mutual relation between fragmentation and integration or convergence, comprehend correctly the fragmentation era of multimodality, and make fragmentation effectively serve human society.
