Chinese modern folk literature is a kind of folk culture born under Chinese agricultural culture. But more than folk literature, it pursues the integration of national historical tradition and local characteristics; And folk literature is a world-wide literary theme, the research on which is not only conducive to the great rejuvenation of both the Chinese nation’s folk culture but also good for developing global cultural dialogue space, thus fnding our comparative advantages, and then optimizing the world cultural system. Set respectively against the North China, Northwest China and Northeast China, the three battlefeld novels of red classics Xin Er Nü Ying Xiong Zhuan, Bao Wei Yan’an and Lin Hai Xue Yuan portray the local red China by means of folk language with characteristics of local features. The fndings could be of light on the translation of folk-language- loaded Chinese literature going globally.
