摘要
在市场经济深入的背景下,民间信仰活动自我扩张的社会机制能够在礼物范式中得到阐释。在浙东的信仰实践中,农民许愿时点烧"佛纸"作为敬神的礼物,而心愿的实现被视为神佛的回馈。随着乡村经济增长,熟人社会的分化日益明显,富有的上层通过"夸富宴"式的礼物呈现获得地位优势,这引来中下阶层的被动跟从。不同阶层围绕着人神关系的远近展开竞争,这成为民间信仰扩张的内在动力;另一方面,在规模逐步扩大的礼物生产过程中,过剩的财富从上层到中下层扩散,分裂的村庄实现了一定程度的自我弥合。人—神礼物互往蕴含着社会本身的自愈能力。
The social mechanism of the expansion of folk belief activities under the background of market economy going deeply into rural areas can be explained in the gift paradigm.In the belief practice in Eastern Zhejiang province,the peasants burned Buddha papers as gifts for respecting the gods when they made wishes,and the realization of their wishes was considered to be a reward by the god Buddha.With the growth of the rural economy,the acquaintance community has begun to stratify.The rich upper class has obtained a status advantage through luxurious gift presentation,which has led to the middle and lower classes' imitation and follow-up.Different levels revolve around the different distances between the people and the gods.This has become the internal driving force for the expansion of folk beliefs.At the same time,in the process of increasing the production of gifts,the excess wealth of the village has spread from the upper to the middle and lower levels of vulnerable groups.The splitting acquaintance society has achieved a certain degree of self-healing,and the expansion of the gift exchange between human and god implies the self-healing ability of the society itself.
