摘要
晚明嘉善县的社会生活中,胥五区是一个极为重要的乡区空间,基本属于世居于此的陈龙正家族为主导的生活世界。陈龙正以其祖居的胥五区为中心,凭借其广泛的社会影响力,全面推动官府的城乡救荒活动与秩序维护工作,并以乡绅的自觉意识,利用官府的力量,将官绅阶层的特权与衙门胥吏的腐败限制在一个有效的范围内。作为胥五区中存在的唯一强大的家族,陈氏并未形成小区域的"宗族社会"。无论是国家视野,还是地方关怀,陈龙正的言说实践中不时倡扬的,还有王阳明的学说与政治理念,特别是十家牌法和人才与练兵问题,重视地方权力结构的平衡与社会秩序的控制,在官绅群体中强化了经世思想的讨论与交流,为乡村公共权力的施展,奠立民众所认同的权力象征与社会规范。
For the social life of Jiashan county in the late Ming Dynasty,the Xuwu District was one of the rural space of extreme importance,mostly belonging to the life-world dominated by the family of Chen Long-zheng which had been locally resident for generations.During the reign of Chong-zhen,Chen Long-zheng,with a focus on his ancestral land,the Xuwu District,comprehensively promoted the local authoritiess’order maintenance and relief activities both in the urban and rural areas through his extensive social influences.Besides,with the self-consciousness as a local gentry,he took advantage of the power of local authorities to restrict the privileges of the official-gentry class and the corruptions of the petty officials in the local government within an effective scope.However,as the only powerful family in the Xuwu District,the Chen’s family hadn’t form a small area of"clan society".Whether the national perspective or the local concern,what Chen Long-zheng usually advocated in his words and practices as well were the theories and political ideas of Wang Yang-ming,especially the"ten brand method",the issues of talents and troop training and the emphasis on the balance of the local power structure and the control of the social order,which strengthened the discussion of statecraft thoughts among the official-gentry groups,and thus the symbol of power and social regulations approved by the local people were established for the application of the rural public power.
