摘要
Based on Systemic Functional Grammar,it comparatively analyzes an extract of the essay Autumn in Peiping by Yu Dafuand its translated versions from the perspective of transitivity.The appreciation and perception can be better achieved by analyzingthe process of the source text and the target texts.On the other hand,transitivity analysis can provide insight to the study of transla-tion.Finally,it testifies the appliability of systemic functional grammar in discourse analysis and translation studies.
