摘要
国际新闻编译指译者通过选材、提炼及编译的过程把国外媒体用外语报道的新闻加工成为能够为国内受众服务的新闻报道的实践行为。在国际新闻编译中,由于缺乏新闻学理论指导,译者＂把关＂意识淡薄,常导致部分所译新闻失实,有时甚至损害国家形象。国际新闻编译者,作为译语新闻＂把关人＂之一,应在新闻选材、意识形态、双语转换能力等方面严谨对待,审慎处理,避免产出对原文亦步亦趋或有损中国形象的中文译文。合理选材、注重意识形态并灵活运用注释增译、筛选减译、意译整合等编译方法是实现国际新闻编译的有效对策。
Global news transediting in this paper refers to the practice of selecting,processing and transediting the English news reported by the foreign media into Chinese. In global news transediting,due to the absence of certain news transediting theories,transeditors may lack of the ＂gate-keeping ＂awareness,which usually leads to misinformation or be detrimental to a country＇s image. It is the global news transeditors＇ duty to strengthen awareness in the ＂gate-keeping＂process in source news selection,in ideology and in translation skills. Based on a detailed analysis of several cases,this paper tentatively proposes some transediting methods,such as annotation plus amplification,screening plus reduction,and free translation plus integration,to which the transeditors need to conform so as to promote their competence of global news transediting.
