摘要
国学大师王国维一生钻研学术,他的翻译作品也涉猎多个领域。王国维的翻译观从哲学的视角出发,强调翻译要以通晓中西方思维模式和话语体系为前提,兼顾原作的特质和神韵;并在学术词汇翻译没有对应时适当借用外来语。他对日语译名的吸收和利用推动了中国翻译事业的发展,对促进中西方文化交流起了积极的作用。
Wang Guowei,a master of Chinese culture,devoted his life to academic research and his translation works involved many fields.From the perspective of philosophy,Wang Guowei＇s translation concept emphasizes the premise of translation should be understanding both Chinese and western thinking patterns and discourse systems,and translation should remain faithful to the features and charm of original text.He also holds that words from a different language can be borrowed when there are no corresponding ones in academic terms translation.His absorption and utilization of Japanese terms for translation has promoted the development of Chinese translation and has played an active role in cultural exchange between China and the West.
