摘要
企业劳动收入份额的持续性下降是中国当前促进收入分配公平改革所面临的重大难题。本文使用中国工业企业微观数据,实证研究了企业空间集聚对企业劳动收入份额的影响,发现企业空间集聚显著促进了企业扩大雇佣规模,并且利于提高劳动力工资水平,进而有助于缓解中国企业劳动收入份额的持续下行压力。子样本回归结果显示:企业空间集聚对企业劳动收入份额的正向影响主要存在于"劳动密集型行业"和"中小城市",因此,通过积极的产业政策和区域发展政策,重点引导中小城市的劳动力密集型企业形成空间集聚,是缓解中国企业劳动收入份额持续大幅下降压力的有效手段之一。
The declining labor income share is a serious challenge to the income distribution reform in China. By using the Chinese industrial firm database from 1998 to 2007,this paper studied how the firm agglomeration affected China′s firm-level labor income share. We found out that the firm agglomeration of China′s industrial firms had significant positive effect on its firmlevel labor income share,and it′s mainly because that agglomerated firms tend to hire more employees and raise their wages. Besides,we also proved that the significance of the positive effect of firm agglomeration on the labor income share of China′s industrial firms mainly exist in the labor-intensive firms and firms located in small and medium-sized cities. In conclusion,Chinese government should focus on guiding labor-intensive firms in small and medium-sized cities to agglomerate through proper industrial and regional development policies,which would help to alleviate the pressure of the ever-declining firm-level labor income share in China.
