In order to investigate the effect of fermented distillers" grains on fattening performance and blood biochemical indexes of cows, 30 cows healthy and similar in weight were selected and divided into three groups on average. Control group added no fermented distillers" grains, 6% fermented distillers" grains were added to the concentrate in the group 1, 10% of the fermented distillers" grains were added to the group 2. The results showed that the weight gain of the test group 2 respectively increased by 26.92% and 30.69% than the test group 1 and control group. The total serum protein in control group was significantly higher than that in test group 1 and test group 2(P〈0.01). Serum urea increased with the amount of fermented distillers" grains, showing a downward trend, and the control group was significantly higher than the experimental group l(P〈0.05), significantly higher than the experimental group 2(P〈0.01). The glucose control group was significantly higher than the experimental group 1 and the experimental group 2(P〈0.01). There was no significant difference between alkaline phospha- tase group and calcium group(P〉0.05). Conclusion: adding 10% fermented distillers" grains can improve the blood biochemical indexes of cows and improve the fattening performance of cows.
