摘要
海外华人庆祝中国传统节日,因其复杂的历史渊源,政治、社会和文化背景,具有更丰富的文化内涵。文章在长期田野调查的基础上,以泰国清迈华人为研究对象,挖掘并分析了清迈华人庆祝中国传统节日时物质生活、社会生活和精神生活三个层面的文化实践,展现了节日传统随环境被不断塑造的同时也被华人再造成为他们眼中的中华文化传统的复杂过程,探讨了华人如何在家庭与公共两个场域,通过民间与官方的不同途径在中国传统节日中展演和构建其华人身份认同。
Owing to the complicated historical origin as well as political, social and cultural background, Chinese traditional festival celebrations of overseas Chinese feature richer cultural connotations. Based on long-term fieldwork, this paper takes Sino Thai in Chiang Mai, Thailand as an example and gains an insight into their cultural practice during Chinese traditional festivals from three levels： material life, social life and spiritual life, presenting the complex process that festival traditions are shaped by environment as well as reconstructed to imagined traditions by Sino Thai at the same time.How Sino Thai perform and construct their Identity in private and public field through non-government and government ways will also be explored.
