In this article, we will analyze the core of Maurice Blanchot's literary thought, as well as its formation, influence and reception. In his literary thought, Blanchot focuses mainly on the interpretation of the "literary space" which is both a space that makes possible the action of writing, and a space where literature presents itself as a silence. By interpreting the literary space, Blanchot has made the action of writing a new model of thought. His thinking is influenced on the one hand by the phenomenological thought of Heidegger, and on the other hand by the literary thought of Mallarme. The fusion of these two thoughts in Blanchot gave rise to a power which secretly directed the path of thought in the second half of the 20th century in France.
