Application of Mtwo, S3, and WaveOne nickel-titanium instruments in severely curved molar root canal preparation: a comparative analysis

摘要 目的:比较Mtwo、S3和WaveOne这三种机用镍钛器械在磨牙重度弯曲根管预备中的临床应用效果;方法:将需行根管治疗的120颗重度弯曲根管(根管弯曲度大于25°)磨牙随机分成3组,分别用Mtwo、S3和WaveOne镍钛器械预备根管,3组均采用热牙胶充填。比较3组根管预备时间、器械损伤情况、根管成形以及充填效果。结果:根管预备时间比较,WaveOne组最短(2.48±0.83)min,S3组最长(6.13±1.72)min,三组间差异具有统计学意义(P<0.0001);器械损伤情况比较,S3组的损伤率低于Mtwo组和WaveOne组(P=0.004),而根管成形及充填效果比较,Mtwo组均优于S3组和WaveOne组(P<0.0001);结论:在重度弯曲根管的预备中,Mtwo的预备效果最好,而WaveOne更加省时,S3的器械损伤率更低。 Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Mtwo, $3, and WaveOne nickel-titanium instruments in severely curved molar root canal preparation using a comparative analysis. Methods :A total of 120 molars with severely curved root canals (root canal curvature 〉 25° )with a need for root canal therapy were randomly divided into three groups which were treated with Mtwo, S3, and WaveOne nickel-titanium instruments, respectively. Warm gutta-percha obturation was performed for all groups. The three groups were compared in terms of root canal preparation time, instrumental damage, root canal shaping, and filling results. Results: The WaveOne group had the shortest root canal preparation time (2.48 ±0.83)rain and the $3 group had the longest time (6.13 ± 1.72)min. There was a significant difference between the three groups (P 〈 0.000 1 ). The $3 group had a significantly lower rate of instrumental damage than the Mtwo group and the WaveOne group (P = 0.004). The Mtwo group had significantly better root canal shaping and filling results than the S3 group and the WaveOne group (P 〈 0.000 1). Conclusions: During severely curved molar root canal preparation, Mtwo has the best preparation performance. WaveOne uses the shortest time and S3 has the lowest rate of instrumental damage.
