摘要
内皮间质转分化在机体发育过程中发挥重要作用,也参与包括动脉粥样硬化在内的多种心血管疾病的发生发展。氧化应激、炎症、振荡剪切应力等促动脉粥样硬化因素可以导致内皮间质转分化的发生。内皮间质转分化可以导致斑块的钙化、纤维帽变薄,增加斑块的不稳定性。内皮间质转分化可能成为防治动脉粥样硬化的又一关键环节。该文将对内皮间质转分化在动脉粥样硬化方面的研究进行总结。
Endothelial to mesenchymal transition( End MT) plays a major role during organism development,and also contributes to several adult cardiovascular diseases. End MT-derived fibroblast-like cells are common in atherosclerotic lesions. Pro-atherosclerosis factors,such as oxidative stress,hypoxia,inflammatory cytokines and oscillatory fluid shear stress can promote EndMT. End MT is closely associated with plaque calcification,and unstable and ruptured plaque phenotype that may prone to cause clinical events. End MT may be another key step in the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis. Here,we reviewed the role played by endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition( End MT) and its key regulators in atherosclerosis.
