摘要
收集语言学和药学两个学科的实证论文摘要各40篇,基于语料库理论与方法,运用五语步(即背景―引言―方法―结果―结论)分析模式,对论文摘要进行跨学科体裁对比分析。结果显示,两个学科的摘要在宏观结构上主要以语步线性模式呈现,个别摘要出现语步逆序、语步循环和语步合并的情况。语言学摘要侧重研究目的、研究假设或问题的描述,而药学摘要更强调研究方法和研究结果。在微观语言特点方面,时态、语态的使用不仅因学科而不同,也受不同语步交际功能的影响。
Abstract is the essence of a paper which,to some extent,determines whether the paper can be published or retrieved.Based on the five-move analysis model,namely,Background-Introduction-Method-Result-Conclusion,this paper analyzed 80 English abstracts taken from research papers of linguistics and pharmacy.The results show that most of the occurrence of the moves followed the linear sequence in both disciplines,but there were some exceptions.Significant differences in the frequency of moves were found in the abstracts between the two disciplines.There were also differences regarding the linguistic features in different moves between different disciplines,in which the choices of verb tense,voice were highly related to disciplines and moves.The findings of the contrastive analysis of the macrostructural and microlinguistic features between the two disciplines provide guide and pedagogic implications for writing and teaching abstracts.
