摘要
语音技能是非英语专业学生亟待解决的问题。在多元智能理论理指导下,将JazzChants用于自主语音训练。通过对比实验发现:与传统语音训练形式相比JazzChants在语音语调、语音节奏能力提高方面具有比较大的优势,而在单词正音方面的作用不明显;教师要根据学生语音实际状况,把JazzChants与传统的语音训练形式有效结合,切实提高学生的英语语音能力。
It is very important for non-English major students to improve their phonetic ability. The paper studies the application of Jazz Chants in phonetic training basing on the Multiple Intelligences Theory. The empirical study shows that applying Jazz Chants in phonetic training has more advantages over the traditional method in intonation and rhythm. However, it plays little role in English pronunciation correcting. Therefore, teacher should combine these two methods creatively according to the students' real ability to improve their phonetic ability.
