摘要
从纪录片人物同期声翻译的特点出发,提出人物同期声的英译须遵循准确性和可读性两大基本原则。并以纪录片《中国新年》的人物同期声英译为例,分析这两大原则在实践中的指导作用,指出人物同期声的英译应在充分贯彻两个原则的基础上,灵活采用多种策略和方法,增强叙事效果,促进纪录片传播。
Based on characteristics of the translation of instant interviews in documentary, this paper proposes two important C - E translation principles, exactness and readability, and studies their influences by the analysis of the BBC produced documentary “ Chinese New Year”,concluding that translators should obey the exactness and readability, adopting proper translation strategies and methods to improve the translation quality.
