摘要
苏联著名汉学家阿理克所译《聊斋志异》是中国古典小说俄译的一座高峰,该译本以"忠实、优美"而著称,被公认为是《聊斋志异》最经典、影响最大的俄译本。对这一译本的批评研究,将有可能为中国古典文学的外译提供一种切实可行的翻译思路和批评模式。当代翻译学研究认为,翻译并非纯语言环境下的文字转换活动,超语言层面的各种因素始终制约着翻译行为。译本研究不仅要关注"怎么译",更要探究"为什么这么译"的问题。按照此思路对《聊斋志异》俄译本的细致解读和深入分析将有助于系统地梳理阿理克的翻译思想及其成因,并且对我们透过"他者"反观"自我"、积极开展新时期的文化建构也是十分必要和有意义的。
Alexeev is one of the greatest Sinologists in the Soviet Union. His translation of Liaozhai zhiyi is well-known for its faithfulness and gracefulness, and is considered as the most canonical and influential version in the Russian world. The study of this translation could offer a feasible way and mode of criticism for the translation of classical Chinese literature. Modern translation theory asserts that translation criticism should not be confined to the linguistic level and ought to pay more attention to the logic behind the translation. An analysis of Alexeev's translation of this Chinese classic would contribute to clarifying his thoughts on translation and their sources. In addition, this study would also be significant for the rediscovery of 'Self' through 'the Other' and for cultural construction in the new era.
