摘要
起源于经典力学的动态系统理论,1997年被Larsen Freeman引入应用语言学领域,为二语习得研究开辟了一片新天地。该理论将语言视为一种复杂的、自适应的系统,以全新的视角审视二语学习者的语言发展过程。当然,在其理论价值备受推崇之时,该理论在实证研究中的应用价值却受到了人们的质疑。基于此,分析动态系统理论自身的贡献与不足之处,以期能够客观地评价其在二语习得领域中的可应用性。
Dynamic System Theory, originated from classical mechanics, was introduced into the field of applied linguistics in 1997 by Larsen Freeman, which breaks new ground in the study of second language acquisition. The theory regards language as a complex, self-adaptive system and explores second language learners' language development from a new perspective. However, when the theoretical value of Dynamic System Theory gains a wider popularity, its application value in empirical study has been met with incredulity. Based on this, aim at showing the strong and weak points of Dynamic System Theory, in order to objectively evaluate its application in the field of second language research.
