摘要
在学术英语写作教学中,体裁的概念越来越受到重视。本文以武汉某重点大学60名大三英语专业的学生为受试对象进行实证研究,探索了体裁教学法在英文摘要写作教学中的效果以及它能影响学生学术英语写作能力的原因。研究发现:(1)通过实验组和对照组前后测成绩的对比分析,体裁教学法在英文摘要写作教学中成效显著;(2)体裁教学法能影响学生学术英语写作能力的因素包括:增强学生的写作信心、提高读者意识、重视语用环境和关注交际目的。体裁教学法的采用可以使学生的语言知识和体裁知识获得协同发展,他们的写作能力亦能够得到进一步提升。
Genre is of increasing importance in EAP writing instruction. This study was conducted on 60 English major juniors from a key university in Wuhan, aiming to explore the effectiveness of genre-based pedagogy in English abstract writing instruction and how it can influence students' EAP writing competence. The findings include: (1) the comparison between scores in the pre-test and post-test of experimental and control group reveals that genre-based pedagogy is an effective approach to English abstract writing instruction; (2) genre-based pedagogy can enhance students' confidence in writing, improve their reader awareness and enable them to concentrate on context and communicative purposes, which can develop their linguistic knowledge and then improve writing competence.
