摘要
为了解浙江大学学生在网络上的英语运用情况和对大学英语网络化教学的看法,我们于2001年4月在全校对全日制本科生和研究生进行了一次问卷调查.调查结果显示:浙江大学学生已在互联网上明确表现出使用英语的主动性;网络对学生英语学习帮助已初见成效;大学英语网络化教学在浙大的开展已经有了良好的学生基础,但同学们认为网络硬件设施、教考模式、软件设计和师资素质是目前限制浙大开展网络化英语教学的的主要因素.
A survey was conducted in April 2001 at Zhejiang University on students' use of English on the Internet and their perception of a net based College English education. The feedback shows that Zhejiang University students have taken their initiative in using English on the net and have benefited from it;the majority of the Zhejiang University students surveyed welcome a net based English education system, but agree that the University is not yet ready to promote such a system due to insufficient hardware infrastructure and the current teaching testing system, software immaturity, and'underqualified'English-teaching faculty.
