摘要
本科生导师制源于西方。在中国实施本科生导师制,我们应当从深厚悠久的中华历史文化中吸取营养。传统书院教育注重品格养成,师生关系密切,重视因材施教,强调学生自主学习与教师精神引领的结合,可以为本科生导师制的完善提供借鉴与启示。岳麓书院作为千年学府,文化底蕴深厚,传统教育资源丰富,在接通传统教育与现代教育方面具有独特的优势。岳麓书院实施的本科生导师制,涵盖学业导师制、生活导师制、班级导师制、学术兴趣导师制几个方面,既立足当代高等教育发展的实际,又充分挖掘传统书院教育资源,颇具特色。八年来,岳麓书院实施本科生导师制取得了显著成果,也引发了我们对于如何提高师生对本科生导师制的认识、如何完善本科生导师制的管理运行机制、如何构建本科生导师制实施效果的评价体系等一系列问题的思考。
The undergraduate tutor system was invented in the 14th century England and was introduced to China in the early modern period.At the beginning of this century,the number of institutions that implements undergraduate tutor system continues to increase,and the system is also promoted by the state.However,the past experience of practicing undergraduate tutor system in China suggests that it is not feasible to implement the system by copying the Western model directly.Instead,the Chinese systems should show their own characteristics,be based on the Chinese cultural tradition and gather their inspirations from the long history of Chinese culture.There are several characteristics of traditional Academy education,where special attention is paid to the following point:First,the cultivation of personalities which urges the students to pursue both'knowledge'and'morality'.Second,the establishment of the close teacher-student relationship.Teachers and students become friends,who spend day and night together discussing knowledge and morality.Students would naturally receive positive influences from their teachers.Third,teaching in accordance with the student aptitude.Guide the students to fully develop their own talents and potentials.Fourth,combining students’self-learning,self-management,self-growth with teachers’guidance,coaching and peer encouragement,cooperation.As an ancient academy with over a thousand years’history,profound cultural background and abundant resources on traditional education,Yuelu Academy has a particular advantage in connecting traditional and modern education.Based on the current development of Higher Education,Yuelu Academy created its unique tutorial system in 2009,utilizing its educational resources inherited from traditional academies.The Yuelu undergraduate tutor system is composed of four different types of tutors,including academic tutors,life tutors,class tutors and academic interest tutors.This system covers different aspects of the undergraduate learning process and provides institut
