摘要
1920年由关颂声创建的天津基泰工程司,是我国成立最早、规模最大的建筑设计事务所之一,也是中国近代建筑史上最重要的中国人自营建筑事务所之一。1941年,基泰工程司天津事务所和北平事务所合并而成华北基泰工程司,主要负责基泰工程司在北方地区的业务。我国著名的建筑设计大师杨廷宝和张镈的早期建筑创作实践都是在基泰工程司完成的,同时也为京津两地培养了大批建筑设计人才。
Kwan, Chu and Yang Architects ＆ Engineers of Tianjin was founded by Mr. Kwan Sun Sing in 1920. It is one of the earliest and the biggest private architectural firm in China and also one of the most important Chinese architectural firm in the modern times. In 1941, the Kwan, Chu and Yang Architects ＆ Engineers of North China was set up by merging the offices of Tianjin and Beijing of Kwan, Chu and Yang Architects ＆ Engineers.It was responsible for the businesses of Kwan, Chu and Yang Architects ＆ Engineers in the north of China.The early architectural practices of the prominent architects such as Yang Ting Pao and Zhang Bo were achieved in the Kwan, Chu and Yang Architects ＆ Engineers, and it also trained lots of architectural design talents for Tianjin and Beijing.
